I am a responsible dog owner who always cleans up after my dog and quite rightly those who do not should be punished by way of a fine.
But what about horse owners? I stepped outside my house this morning to be met by several mounds of horse manure on the pavement, this has happened on several occasions and it is not a very pleasant sight.
Why do those that either ride or walk their horse think it is perfectly acceptable for their animal to mess on the pavement and then just leave it there?
I have seen police horses and military horses with attachments strapped to them that can collect the manure to be emptied later, I have looked into this and they only cost a few pounds.
Is it unreasonable or unfair of me to expect horse owners to clean up after their animal? I have to with my dog.
