Meetings held at wrong time

Have your say

NO wonder everyone was a bit disappointed at the turnout for the public meeting held at the Under One Roof centre in Hucknall to discuss plans to build hundreds of houses at Top Wighay Farm.

Times are hard and most people are at work on Monday mornings and can’t afford the time off.

The best way for politicians to say that the public are not interested is to hold meetings when they can’t attend.

Let’s have meetings on Hucknall Market Place on Saturdays when we can have a day off work. Then they might have a better response.

RAY WILSHAW,

Woodstock Street, Hucknall.
