We need to protect our land from overbuilding

I AM writing to the Dispatch about the exclusive by Martin Hutton in the Dispatch (‘Summit To Thrash Out Plans To Build Thousands Of Homes’).

Please, please, we need to fight for our land. I only moved to Hucknall because it is near to the countryside and brilliant for me and my children to go for walks in the fresh air.

Hucknall certainly doesn’t need any more houses building anywhere and especially not on our Green-Belt land. It would have a major impact on wildlife.

This town has already suffered overbuilding and the traffic would increase by double and be a risk to our children’s lives again.

LORRAINE SEDDON,

Hucknall,

(Address supplied).
