Yellows will rise again

I AM writing about the fresh crisis at Hucknall Town Football Club.

It seems that some of the powers-that-be have tried to oust the club’s chief executive, Liz Morley.

I believe Liz is still doing an excellent job. I know the club’s president, and former chairman, Brian Holmes, also thinks this.

Let’s face it. Without Brian, we would not have seen the glory days at Town.

I recall the old Beardall Street School motto: like a phoenix, we will rise again.

HEDLEY CARRINGTON,

Long Hill Rise,

Hucknall.
