Town could not have wished for a more difficult Third Round (last 32) tie than their trip to Premier Division leaders Boston United (7.45 pm kick-off).

But it will not stop manager Bryan Chambers giving 18-year-old midfielder Ibrahim, who lives in Hucknall, his full debut in place of Joe Ward, who is serving a one-match ban for his red card in Town's 2-1 win at Retford United earlier this month.

Ibrahim has been playing for the Hucknall Town and Unity Academy side and Chambers says he sees something special in him.

"He has some talent," said Chambers. "He is still very young but I have high hopes for him. It will be a good test for him at Boston in front of a decent crowd.

"Boston is definitely a tough draw but it is a good one in respect of the higher gate-receipts. And I am not taking the game lightly.

"Our priority is to stay in this division but I will be taking a full-strength squad to Boston because every football match is there to be won.

"My lads will want to win the game. They aren't thinking of it as just a cup-tie."

The match is their third away game against the league's top three this month. And they will be hoping to complete a hat-trick after winning at Retford and Ashton United.

They should have nothing to fear either after they almost secured an unlikely victory at Boston in a league match in August.

It took a goal six minutes into stoppage time from striker Jamie Clarke to level the scores at 2-2 and deny The Yellows a famous triumph.

Town had led twice, through Lee Whittington and a Laurie Wilson penalty, before Clarke, a transfer target for The Yellows last summer, had the final word.

Whittington could get a run-out for Town tonight .as he returns to fitness after hamstring trouble.

Boston boss Rob Scott is likely to give some of his fringe players the chance to shine. Goalkeeper Aaron Butcher and defenders Simon Ashton and Nick Jackson are likely to start, while 19-year-old midfielder Adam Millson will make his first appearance for seven months.

Millson, who was Boston's player-of-the-year last season, broke his leg in a game against Nantwich Town last April. Former Yellows James Cullingworth and Danny Sleath could also feature.

Admission to the game has been reduced to £5 for adults and £1 for under-16s.
