A healthy run of impressive form by HUCKNALL ROLLS LEISURE was brought to an end by an unexpected defeat away to Mickleover Royal British Legion. in the Central Midlands League’s South Division.

Legion had lost seven of their first 11 fixtures, but they were too strong for The Rollers, who sank to a 3-1 defeat, despite a goal from striker Jack Allen.

On target for the home side were Daniel James, Darren Ruston and Rob Selby.

This Saturday, Rolls hope to become the first team this term to take a point off the division’s runaway leaders, Mickleover Royals, who have a flawless record after 11 games and are already ten points clear at the top.
