Birmingham City recall Hayden Mullins from Notts County
Mullins, who arrived at Meadow Lane on a short-term loan deal in January, has played an integral part in the club’s dramatic upturn in fortunes.
However, due to injuries in their own defence, relegation-threatenedBirmingham City have moved to activate a clause in the 35-year-old’s loan deal that allows him to be recalled.

Hide AdJim Rodwell, Notts County CEO, was full of praise for the experienced loanee.
“Since arriving at the club, Hayden has shown what a model professional he is both on and off the pitch and there is no doubt that his experience and attitude have played a major part in the club’s improved form of late,” said Rodwell.
“Obviously we are disappointed to be losing him at such a key time, but we fully understand Birmingham’s reasons for recalling him and would like to place on record our thanks to them for allowing Hayden to join us.
“We wish both the club and the player well for their final two games of the season.”
