Unbeaten HUCKNALL SPORTS UNDER-15S BLACK stepped up their pursuit of the Sunday First Division title with a double-figres demolition of Ilkeston FC Juniors.

Sports raced to a 10-1 victory, with Adam Loydall helping himself to five of the goals, even though he started on the substitutes’ bench. Josh Pearson (2), man-of-the-match Pierce Hallam, Elliot Morledge and Samuel Jackson shared the other goals as the locals made it seven wins from eight league games.

TOP-of-the-table LINBY RANGERS UNDER-15S suffered only their second defeat of the season in the Sunday league cup. Linby, who head the Second Division, went down 4-2 to First Divuision strugglers Keyworth United Black, despite goals from Oliver Bradbury and Ryan Butler.

TWO Hucknall sides crashed to 7-1 defeats in the Sunday Third Division of the league’s under-15s section. HUCKNALL HARRIER fell to high-flying Sandiacre Town Red, despite a goal from man-of-the-match Danni Jones, while bottom-of-the-table HUCKNALL WARRIORS RED sank to their 12th straight reverse -- this time at home to Ernehale Colts. Tayler Ramsey scored their consolation goal, and Stefano Mercatelli was named their man-of-the-match.

BELOW-par ROLLS-ROYCE LEISURE UNDER-15S were knocked off the top of the Saturday First Division after only their second defeat of the campaign -- 2-0 away to Aslockton Cranmers.

PLUCKY LINBY RANGERS UNDER-15S tried hard to bridge a gap of three divisions in the Saturday league cup. But they went down 5-2 at home to First Division Carlton Town Blue, despite goals from Ryan Butler and man-of-the-match Cameron Murdock.

RELIEVED ROLLS-ROYCE LEISURE UNDER-18S staved off a fightback by Priory Celtic Green to win 4-3 in the Sunday Third Division. On target were man-of-the-match Samuel Atkins (2), Connor Clifford and Alejandro Johnson.
