Leaky HUCKNALL ROLLS LEISURE RESERVES rounded off their Notts Senior League, First Division by conceding 11 goals in their last two matches.

There was no disgrace in losing 5-1 to champions Underwood Villa, who have lost just once in 30 games this term. They were even level at half-time thanks to a goal from player/manager Reece Jackson.

But Rolls were also involved in a crazy 11-goal farce against bottom-of-the-table Awsworth Villa Reserves. Jackson was again on target with two of the strikes, while Matt Rick found the net twice too. But the home side stole the points with a 6-5 win, even though they have let in 121 goals of their own this season.

The results left Rolls in eighth position in the 16-team division, four behind local-derby rivals, Linby Colliery Welfare Reserves, in Jackson’s first year as boss.
