Mansfield Town icon Phil Stant is pictured in action against York City back in 1992.
Hot-shot Stant banged in 32 goals during 57 appearances for Mansfie1d between 1991–1993, before he left to join Cardiff.
Phil Stant’s route into professional football came after a career in the military during which he served in the Falklands War.
He progressed into the SAS before turning his attentions to football, when he was bought out of the army by Hereford for £600,
Despite his relatively short-stay at the club, Stant remains a modern day Mansfield Town legend.
