Former Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox is new manager at Torquay United
Cox arrives at the Launa Windows Stadium following great success as manager of Eastwood Town and then Mansfield Town, earning the Stags a return to the Football League two seasons ago.
As a player, Cox was a tough defender with the likes of Notts County, Halifax Town and Kettering Town, moving into management with Eastwood Town in the Northern Premier League.

It took Cox just two seasons to win the Conference Premier title in a campaign that also saw the Stags reach the FA Cup Third Round, where they took on Liverpool.
His first full season as a manager in the Football League ended in a very respectable mid-table finish before he finally left the club back in November.
The new consortium in charge of Torquay United will unveil their new boss to the media on Thursday morning.
