Mansfield Town reserves outing for Danny Rose
Mansfield Town striker Danny Rose was given an hour in the reserves today to help sharpen up his match fitness in a 2-0 Central League defeat at neighbours Notts County.
Rose, who is just back from a double jaw fracture, came on for the last half-hour against Cambridge last weekend and it is believed he can play a major part in the last five games of the season with Stags chasing promotion.
The Magpies were ahead after seven minutes when Kion Etete punished a poor Mansfield backpass and Elliott Ward doubled the lead on 26 minutes with a far post header from a corner.
Zayn Hakeem hit the bar for Stags.
