Goal-happy ROLLS-ROYCE LEISURE UNDER-15S kept up their pursuit of the NOTTS YOUTH LEAGUE’S Saturday First Division title with another runaway victory.

Rolls followed up a 7-0 success the previous week by winning 6-0 at bottom-of-the-table Toton Tigers Orange to move just three points behind leaders Sandiacre Town with two games to play. The goals (three in each half) were shared by Adam Loydall (2), Joe Humphreys, Sam Jackson, Josh Pearson and man-of-the-match Mitchell Jackson.

GOALS by man-of-the-match James Hallam earned HUCKNALL SPORTS UNDER-16S WHITE one of their best results of the season in the Saturday First Division. After only three wins in 15 league matches, Sports triumphed 2-0 away to fourth-placed Nottz Colts.

A MAN-of-the-match performance by Jordan Lidgett was not enough to prevent HUCKNALL WARRIORS UNDER-16S RED sinking to another heavy defeat in the Sunday Third Division. Warriors went down 9-0 at home to NG United, with seven of the goals coming in the second half.

TITLE-chasing HUCKNALL SPORTS UNDER-15S BLACK remain just one point behind the Sunday First Division leaders, and with a game in hand, after a 3-0 victory away to Pegasus Youth. Sports, who have dropped only five points all season, were indebted to goals from Kellen Gretton, Pierce Hallam and Adam Loydall, not forgetting a man-of-the-match display from Alex Humphreys.

PLUCKY BULWELL FOREST UNDER-15S just fell short in their bid to wrestle the Sunday Third Division title from tabletoping Sandiacre Town. In their penultimate game of the season, Forest knew a win at Sandiacre would leave them only a point behind. But instead the clash finished all-square at 2-2, even though the locals led 1-0 at half-time. Forest’s goals were scored by Romari Blackwood and Zadane Mitchell, while their man-of-the-match award went to Thomas Mabbott.

A GOAL in each half sentenced HUCKNALL TOWN HARRIER UNDER-15S to a 2-0 defeat at Pelican Colts in the Sunday Third Division. Their star man on the day was Jacob North.
