Individual errors cost HUCKNALL ROLLS LEISURE RESERVES dear in a crushing 7-1 defeat at the hands of Awsworth Villa Reserves.
Rolls started the day six points clear of Awsworth in the Notts Senior League, First Divisioin table, but ended up returning home with their tails between their legs.
They started well enough and even took the lead when a half-cleared corner fell to left-back Ross Lamb, who drilled home an angled shot.
But midway through the first half, when in no danger, they allowed Awsworth to level and despite the presence of first-teamer Richard Harrison in midfield, it was downhill all the way from there.
The second period continued in the same vein as the home side went on a free-for-all goal-spree. Worryingly, Rolls suffered from a lack of physical presence in several areas of the pitch.

FAST-improving LINBY COLLIERY WELFARE RESERVES ended a terrific run of form by Southwell City Reserves to spring a surprise in Division One of the Notts Senior League.
Southwell went into the contest on the back of six straight wins and sat as high as fourth in the table.
But Linby came away with a 2-0 victory, thanks to goals from Charlie Miller and Matt Falconer and their best defensive display of the season so far.
The result was enough to edge Linby back above derby rivals Rolls on goal-difference in the table. he ght.
