Hucknall Town bounced back in emphatic style from their unfortunate defeat the previous week to put an inf-orm Blidworth side to the sword in their latest Abacus Lighting Central Midlands league game.

The Yellows picked up where they left off the previous week on the attack and playing with good tempo – the difference being they took their chances and new striker Jaylee Hodgson could not have been more impressive with a perfect debut hat-trick with head, right and left foot finishes.

Blidworth’s keeper had made a couple of good stops before Joe Atkinson’s back post header from a Michael Banister corner after 14 minutes, then Joe Ashurst scored to make it 2-0 on 32 minutes following a pass by Atkinson.
