Stags to host Premier League club in friendly

Mansfield Town will welcome Premier League outfit Hull City Tigers to One Call Stadium on Tuesday, July 19 as part of the Stags' pre-season schedule (7.30pm).

The East Yorkshire club reclaimed their place in the top flight of English football after a 1-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday last month in the Championship play-off final.

Stags’ fans will have the chance to see former winger Sam Clucas, now with the Tigers, after the 25-year-old spent a season in North Nottinghamshire in 2013-14.

It is the third arranged friendly for the Stags at One Call Stadium this pre-season, with matches already organised against Bolton Wanderers (Saturday, July 16) and Blackburn Rovers (Tuesday, July 26).

Admission prices will be announced in due course.
