Mansfield Town made three changes for this afternoon’s Bank Holiday visit of Cheltenham Town.
Sam Clucas was rewarded for his sparkling cameo in Good Friday’s 1-1 draw at Accrington with a start up front in place of Ollie Palmer.
Anthony Howell took over the attacking midfield role in place of Junior Daniel while Jamie McGuire was recalled alongside Adam Murray in the centre of midfield at the expense of Chris Clements.
Stags knew they had to win to keep alive their fading play-off hopes while the Robins knew a win could ensure their mathematical survival in League Two, depending on results elsewhere.
