Walsall's James Baxendale signs permanent deal with Mansfield Town
Mansfield Town have announced the permanent signing of James Baxendale on a free transfer from Walsall.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder initially joined the club on loan from the Saddlers on January 9 and has now put pen-to-paper on an 18-month deal at One Call Stadium.
Baxendale was voted as man of-the-match on his debut against Stevenage after scoring a fine second-half goal and has since started in every game, helping the Stags to secure nine points from a possible 15.
