Crafty Conny and Shamrock hold the aces

PERFECT records are keeping Crafty Conny and Shamrock flying high at the head of the HUCKNALL WINTER DOMINOES LEAGUE.

Both have chalked up victories in their opening three clashed of the campaign with Conny heading the table on leg-difference.

In their latest outing, they comfortably saw off Nabb Inn 4-1, while second-placed Shamrock recorded victory over visiting Talk Of The Town by courtesy of a narrow 3-2 win.

A couple of points further back, but with a game in hand and two wins from two, are third-placed Conny A, who held the aces in a 3-2 home win over Station Hotel (Hucknall) B.

Elsewhere there were mixed fortunes for the two teams from George Street Working Men’s Club. The A team secured a fillip 3-2 success at Bentinck Club, while the B team were heavily beaten by Royal British Legion on their own table.

In the final match of the round, the force was with Empire Strikes Back as they triumphed 3-2 in a tight encounter with Shamrock.
