Djokovic tipped to topple Murray once again

Wimbledon starts on Monday with second seed Andy Murray 11/4 to regain his Wimbledon crown after coming from a set and a break down to beat Milos Raonic and win a fifth Queens title last weekend.

Standing in his way, however, is the formidable Novak Djokovic (8/11) who became the first man in almost fifty years to win four consecutive Grand Slams in Paris earlier in the month.

In the Ladies event it would be no surprise if there is a repeat of last year’s final at SW19 and the recent French Open final, with Gabi Murguruza taken to confirm Paris form but reverse last year’s Wimbledon form with Serena Williams.

Serena’s big serve is always a potent weapon on grass but she didn’t look as mobile in Paris as the young Spaniard and perhaps there will be a changing of the guard with Murguruza backing up her dominant display on the French clay; 13/2 at BetVictor is too big although she suffered a first round loss in Mallorca earlier in the week back on grass.

If she makes it into the second week of the tournament she could well be the one to beat.
