DOMINOES: Town are the big winners

TALK of the Town were the big winners of the week as they thumped Station Public House 5-0 to move up from third to second with just one set of games to go.

They are now just two points behind leaders Bestwood Village Social Club who edged home 3-2 at Station B who dropped two places to sixth as a result of the defeat.

The Crafty Conny were the other big winners of note as they secured a 4-1 home success over Royal British Legion.

The defeat was a major dent in RBL’s title aspirations and it would need a strange set of final results for them to be crowned champions.

Bentinck remain in bottom place despite a 3-2 home win over Conny A who are now involved in a three-way tie at the bottom on 12 points.

Sandwiched in between are the Station public house.

In the middle of the table battle, Shamrock lost 3-2 at home to George St WMC B.
