A new-look Stags side have really hit the heights this season before seven games without a win damaged their play-off ambitions.

They are not dead and buried yet, though and it’sbeen a decent first full season in charge for Adam Murray, especially after bookies tipped them for the drop last summer.

Both goalkeepers, Scott Shearer and Brian Jensen, have won many fans as has exciting left back Mal Benning, whose season was hit by injury.

Centre halves Ryan Tafazolli and Krystian Pearce have both shone throughout, Lee Collins has been dependable in a variety of positions, Chris Clements has been a first choice in the heart of midfield and Matt Green has shaken off his two years of injury misery to be top scorer.
