David Willcock’s 52 and Louis Sprigg’s 40 propelled the visiting team to a total of 232 for 7 leading to the Clipstone captain electing to declared.

Worksop’s best bowling came from Tim Smith Junior with 3 for 41.

An unbeaten 101 from Luke Ambrose along with Mark Ambrose’s 42 offered Worksop hope that the decision to declare was going to benefit them as they built a reply.

However, the total although close did not match the target. Louis Sprigg’s bowling of 3 for 28 was one aspect that brought Worksop’s total to 227 for 9.
