The KLG Rutland logo has been included on the Dolphins’ new swim hats and the KLG Rutland Trophy will be awarded at the club’s presentation evening.

The new award will be given to the Dolphins’ Young Volunteer of the Year.

The club said junior coaches/volunteers get a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and develop their skills through working with the senior coaches and had become a vital part of the Hucknall and Linby teaching team.

Kevin Greenfield, owner of KLG Rutland, said: “After talking about the Dolphins with (club chairman) Terry (Hill) I decided — as an employer of young people on apprenticeships — that it seemed fitting for us to establish an award that would recognise the contribution to the community of these young volunteers.”

Terry Hill thanked the firm for its continued support.
