Mansfield Giants were celebrating another junior success came this week as Harry Brewin, who recently played for East Midlands at the U15 boys regional tournament, was selected to be part of the U15 boys England development squad.
Brewin, is the third Giants player to be selected this year to be a part of this year’s England programmes as he joins female players Chloe Gaynor and Ashante Richards.
The past few months have seen many players go through the selection process of county and regional selection processes across many age group competitions in which all of the above three went through.
Other Giants players who have gained honours are Jack Halstead making the U13 Boys East Midlands squad and U13 Nottinghamshire team, Callum Cosford and James Allan selected for the U15 boys Nottinghamshire team and East Midlands Squad.
Jess Vick, Mackenzie Sims, Alex Espin, Kieran Cosford, Ben Morrison have all been selected for their respective age group team for Nottinghamshire.
Giants U13 team played their second league game of the season and beat Leicester Riders away 93-37 last weekend.
