A BLAST of three goals in jurst eight minutes before half time put paid to Hucknall Town recording their first win of the season in Division One South of the Evo-Stik League on Tuesday night.

The Yellows were leading on their home ground after a 17th-minute opener from Karl Slack against King’s Lynn Town.

But The Linnets hit back with goals from Stephen Sprigss — on 37 and 44 minutes — that sandwiched a strike from Russel Dunkley.

It sentenced Hucknall to a 3-1 reverse to add to their 1-1 draw with Newcastle Town on the opening day of the campaign last Saturday.
