Friendly defeat

HUCKNALL’S final friendly of pre-season ended in a 1-0 defeat to Worksop Town on Tuesday.

Massiah MacDonald scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute.

Manager Brett Marshall said: “I was very pleased with the work rate and build-up play but we lacked that spark in the final third.

“Our ethos of being hard to beat is coming together nicely.”
