Louise and Penny land Sherwood Forest golf trophies

Sherwood Forest Golf Ladies’ Chadburn Cup winner was Louise Betteridge while the Anne Blackwell Trophy went to Penny Huber.

In the Stableford Finals, Silver division winner was Michelle Duckmanton on 35 points, Jane Broughton two behind as runner-up.

The Bronze Division went to Anne Harris with 36 points, five clear of Chez Abraham.

Michelle Duckmanton also celebrated a Stableford Silver Division win with 35 points, two more than Jane Broughton with Sue Penfold a further point adrift

Bronze Division champion was Anne Harris with 36 points, Chez Abraham second on 31 and Kath Else a further two adrift.

The Nine-Hole Stableford title went to Dolly Wood, who scored 32 points.

Grannies Vase victory was achieved by Joanna Smith with 44 points, six in front of Jane Broughton.

The club’s other Stableford Silver Division competition went to Joanna Smith (44 points), Jane Broughton (38) second and Gillian Stump third (37).

In the Bronze Division, Anne Harris edged home with 34 points, the sa me total as Shirley Goulding with third place going to Margaret Green, a point behind them.

Oakmere Park Golf Club’s RNLI 2 from 4 Medal was won by Sean Pearce, Craig Pearce, Glen Hayward and Mark Pearce with a final nett 134 score.

Dean Tomkinson, Steve Mee, Haydn Saxton and Lloyd Young topok second on the back nine with nett 136.

Division One of the club’s Midweek Stableford on Wednesday, 9th October went to Frank Loach, who finished with 34 points.
