THE SWIMMERS of HUCKNALL FALCON put a tough run of recent results behind them to finish an impressive second in a Stage Three gala held at Bramcote Leisure Centres.
The locals’ success was peppered by first and second places — as well as another run of personal-best (PB) times.
The winners at the event were senior boys’ captain Calum Murray, who continued to lead by example with victories in the 14-and-over 200m individual medley and 100m butterfly.
Kyle Raison (12-and-13-year-old boys’ 100m butterfly and 200m individual medley, PB), Ryan Patel (PB, ten-and-11-year-olds’ 100m breaststroke) and the 14-and-over boys’ 4x50m medley relay team of Sam Murden, Daniel Terry, James Terry and Murray also touched home first.
