HUCKNALL Town are likely to have seen the last of teenage striker/winger Corey Gregory after his move to Leicester City was completed.
Gregory has made a big impression at Watnall Road since joining The Yellows on a work-experience loan from Sheffield United last October.
But his performances alerted Leicester scouts. Now he has switched to The Foxes on a youth loan until the end of the season.
Town boss Des Lyttle was hoping Gregory would still be able to play for him at the weekends. But in a message on Twitter, Gregory said his farewells to Yellows fans.
“I would like to thank Hucknall Town for all their support,” he tweeted. “Wishing you all the best for the season. Up The Yellows! Lol”.
