Perfect starts to season continue for leading pair

CRAFTY Conny and Shamrock continued their 100 per cent starts to the season with further victories in the Hucknall Winter Dominoes League.

Crafty Conny hold top spot after they beat Empire Strikes Back 3-2 - Empire’s second defeat of their three games so far.

Shamrock, meanwhile, were victorious against George St WMC A by a similar scoreline, leaving George St’s A team fourth in the table.

Elsewhere, Conny A go third after easing past Sherwood Ranger 4-1, a result which leaves Sherwood bottom of the league, albeit on level points with six other teams at this early stage.

Nabb Inn secured their first win of the season with a 4-1 success over R B Legion who are fifth in the table, while Station B are now sixth after they beat Bestwood VSC 4-1 - the two sides now sitting comfortably in mid-table.

In the lower reaches, Talk of The Town earned their first win with a 3-2 win over George St WMC B who are second bottom, Talk of the Town now being just above them.
