HUCKNALL Summer League update.

Reigning champions Shamrock have made the worst possible start to the defence of their HUCKNALL SUMMER DOMINOES LEAGUE title.

For they have lost all of their opening three matches, including the latest one -- a 3-2 defeat away to Bentinck Club.

The unwanted hat-trick has left Shamrock bottom of the table, although they are only four points off joint early-season leaders Conny and Station PH after both surrendered the last remaining unbeaten records. Conny suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to Central Club, the current winter league champions, while Station went down by the same scoreline at home to George Street.

The week’s other fixture resulted in Bestwood Village Social Club celebrating their first win of the campaign -- 3-2 at Royal British Legion.
