MEMBERS of Bestwood Parish Council have unanimously rejected a scheme to upgrade a bus-turning circle in village.
A meeting of the council heard of proposals from Notts County Council to alter the kerbs and make other improvements to the turning circle at the top of Park Road.

But councillors declared that there is nothing wrong with the feature and to alter it would be "a waste of money".

Instead they want the earmarked money to be spent on providing a new turning circle closer to Broad Valley Drive so as to extend the bus route.
