HUCKNALL’S Mughal Indian restaurant and takeaway has been serving the town’s community of curry lovers for over 26 years.

This long established family-run business continues to pride itself on quality food at a reasonable price and offers a wide selection of options for everyone from the curry connoisseur to first time tikka taster.

Now, with Christmas on the horizon, the venue on Annesley Road is offering the chance to break with tradition and tuck into a curry for your festive gathering.

The four-course festive set meal special offers a choice of starter of either prawn or fruit cocktail, followed by a curry of your choice with mince pies or chocolate yule log for dessert.

To complete the meal, coffee and cheese and biscuits will be served. The price is just £16.99 per person. Discounts are available for tables booked for four or more.

Owner Mazhar-ul Qayyam said: “We look forward to welcoming customers old and new over the festive season and into 2013. We are open Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve so come and visit us and we will help you celebrate the season.”

“Our objective is to provide modern food of the highest quality using only the freshest and finest ingredients.

“We pride ourselves in continuing this heritage of serving freshly prepared, flavoursome Indian food to our customers who have been returning to enjoy all that we offer for many years.”

The Mughal is open seven days a week from 6 pm-midnight with takeaway orders being taken up to 1 am at the weekends.

You can choose to eat in its comfortable restaurant or order a takeaway and either pick up personally or have it delivered for a small additional fee to the surrounding area.

Whether it is a king prawn balti, tandoori chicken or lamb madras there is something to suit all people’s tastes, from mild to very hot for those brave enough.

The Mughal is at 63-65 Annesley Road. To book a table or order a takeaway, call 0115 963 9962, 0115 956 6186 or 0115 8403860.
