NOT content with just one Nativity play as part of their Christmas activities, children of a Bulwell school presented THREE of them.
The trio of productions took place at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Catholic School on Piccadilly.
The performances were staged in the school hall by children from foundation age up to year five.
All the plays followed the traditional story of Jesus’s birth in a manger. featuring the angels, shepherds and wise men.
“Parents helped with the costumes and we had large attendances at each performance,” said a school spokesman.
“All three productions took place in the same week and it goes without saying that a good deal of hard work was involved. But the children really got into the spirit of the occasion and enjoyed their chance to be in the limelight.”
