Win tickets to see Steve Walker's Big Swing Band

High flying professional trumpeter, Steve Walker, will be hitting Gainsborough for the first time with his powerhouse Big Swing Band.

Expect vintage hit tunes made famous by the likes of Glenn Miller, Ellington, Kenton, Dorsey and the like through to the contemporary jazz style of Gordon Goodwin when the musicians play at Trinity Arts Centre on May 7.

There are four trumpets as well as Steve, plus four trombones, five saxophones, string bass, piano, guitar and drums. And a glamorous Etta James- style girl singer, Christine Scott. Steve Walker travels the world’s stage but comes home to Lincolnshire to direct his own Swing Band and to show off the talent that earned him ‘The Man with the Golden Trumpet’ nickname.
