A free literature and music event is taking place at Annesley Old Church on Saturday.
‘Rhythm, Rhyme and Romancing’ takes place at the ruins of the church, off the A608, as part of the 2014 Byron Festival.
The event runs from 4pm to 7pm and readings will be given from the ‘Annesley Anthology’ which will be distributed free to everyone attending the event.
The free event is being run by the Friends of Annesley Old Church and is funded by the Heritage Lottery-funded Annesley Old Church Project.
Music is being supplied by The Songsmiths.
There is limited parking near the Old Church with additional parking being on the service roads into Sherwood Business Park.
In the event of the weather taking a turn for the worst the event will transfer to Annesley All Saints Church (the New Church).
Portable toilets will be on site for the event at the Old Church.
