Jake Bugg will play the Capital FM Arena next year in what will be his first headline arena show in his home city.
The 19-year-old, from Clifton, will perform in Nottingham on 20th February 2014, in what will be the first time a local artist has headlined a show at the venue.
Last week Bugg announced four UK gigs for 2014, all of which sold out within a matter of hours.
One of Jake’s first gigs was at The Maze in Mansfield Road when he was just 15.
Promoter Parisa Eliyon said: “He was just a young lad sat in the corner with his hood up, then he got up on stage, still with his hood up. He was so good I gave him a tenner.”
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday and are priced at £25.20 (price includes administration fee).
Tickets can be booked online via www.capitalfmarena.com, on 0843 373 3000 or in person.
