There is just over a week left to get your tickets for Mansfield Palace Theatre’s pantomime at discounted rates - with nearly 55 per cent of tickets already sold.
Sleeping Beauty is the theatre’s festive family offering this year and it will open on Saturday 29th November, running until Sunday 4th January.
All tickets booked and paid for by Saturday 30th August will be discounted, after which time prices to watch the show will increase by £1 each.
Starring in this year’s yuletide treat is Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle (aka Janice Battersby), who is playing the Bad Fairy, Carabosse.
Speaking about coming to Mansfield, Vicky said: “I love pantomimes and seem to have a track record for playing villains!”
Amy Thompson from Channel 5’s Milkshake! will be playing the Sleeping Beauty, Princess Briar Rose.
She said: “The thing with theatre is that you give that bit more energy – and you get it back. It certainly keeps me fit.”
The show will be packed full of dancing and music, along with the usual pantomime ingredients of comedy, innuendo and fantastic songs to sing along to.
A total of 32,773 tickets are available for the Palace’s 2014 pantomime run and five per cent of the 62 performances have already sold out.
The 2015 Palace panto will be Aladdin, with tickets going on sale during the opening day of Sleeping Beauty.
