The co-producer of Nottingham Theatre Royal’s Classic Thriller Season says that this season promises to be one of the best ones yet.
Now in its 25th year, the season has become a firm favourite of theatre-goers over the summer months and it is returning to the city on Monday with Murder Live! by Mary Elliott Nelson.
Karen Henson, who has co-produced the shows, said: “As a company we have thoroughly enjoyed performing 25 years of classic thrillers and we’re still going as strong as ever. This year’s season promises to be one of the best yet.
“We’re delighted to return with some new faces, some familiar ones and some from that very first thriller season in 1988.
“The audiences are always so warm at the Theatre Royal we’ve come to look upon them as friends.”
Other plays include The Gentle Hook by Francis Durbridge, Murder Mistaken by Janet Green and Murderer by Anthony Schaffer.
