Beethoven double bill in NPO concert

Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra’s first concert of the 2015-2016 season is at the city’s Albert Hall on Sunday, October 11.

The concert starts at 3pm, will be conducted by Mark Heron and will be a treat for fans of Beethoven.

The orchestra will be joining forces with talented soloist Callum Smart to perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto.

The rest of the concert features Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, the Choral, with soloists Tanya Hurst, Emma Stannard, Adam Smith and Thomas D Hopkinson, plus members of Nottingham Harmonic Choir and Nottingham Basch Choir.
