Brahms and Wagner in NSO concert

Nottingham Symphony Orchestra’s final concert of the 2014-2015 season takes place on Saturday, July 11, at Nottingham’s Albert Hall.

Conducted by Derek Williams, the concert starts at 7.30pm and will feature performances of four pieces.

The concert opens with Weber’s tuneful Euryanthe Overture, followed by Forest Murmurs from Wagner’s opera Siegfried, and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, featuring the return of talented soloist Martyn Jackson.

The First Symphony of Johannes Brahms takes up the second half.
