Courses in performing arts for over 55s in Nottinghamshire
Anyone interested in performing arts courses specifically aimed at the over 55s are invited to a free open morning at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on Friday, November 14.
There will be an opportunity to meet the organisers and tutors, observe classes in creative writing, dance and movement and talk to the current 55+ course participants.
The range of courses open to 55+ participants include song writing and performance during which band leader, musician and songwriter, Rikki Thomas-Martinez will help students explore lyric writing, how to find melodies and harmony, how to put it all together and walk away with a recorded CD!
The open morning will include a free backstage tour.
There is no need to book for this free event, just come to the Royal Concert Hall Box Office Foyer any time between 10am and 1pm.
