Cromford talk on the Lunar Society
Thursday, July 9, is the date for an Arkwright Society Lecture called The Lunar Society, from 7pm at Cromford Mills’ Gothic Warehouse.
The cost is £7.50. There are limited places. Advance booking is recommended.
The Lunar Society was a group of prominent people that some said were, next to the Royal Society, the most important gathering place of scientists, inventors and philosophers during the second half of the 18th century.
