Dancing on Ice tour stars announced

The first celebrities to join the Dancing on Ice - Final Tour have been announced and include three former winners of the ITV show: 2009 winner Ray Quinn, 2010 winner Hayley Tamaddon and 2007 champion Kyran Bracken.

The final series of Dancing on Ice will be an 'All Stars' special celebrating the very best of its celebrity skaters from it's entire run.  
 
The 9th series which starts in the New Year, will be the last of the glittering ice skating competition and it promises to go out with a bang.
 
Previous show winners will want to retain their title, runners up will have old scores to settle and show favourites will want to wow viewers with their very best on the ice.

Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley will be rink-side to preside over all the action and the Judges will be on hand to deliver their verdicts.

Olympic skating superstars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will return one final time to help train our celebrities. They will be joined by comedian Joe Pasquale, with more celebrities set to be announced soon.

The tour will visit the Capital FM Arena Nottingham on 8th to 10th April and will again give the audiences the chance to see Torvill and Dean perform exclusive mesmerising skating routines.

Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins will head the panel of rink-side judges, alongside former professional skaters Karen Barber and Nicky Slater.

The couples will dance live on the ice and the audience can text vote for their favourite celebrity to win. The winning couple will then take to the ice for a magical finale performance of Bolero.

West End star and singer Ray Quinn said that winning Dancing on Ice was one of the highlights of his career.

Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon said: “Dancing on Ice is a huge part of my life and to be on the final tour is a real honour.

“Having performed on the tour before, I know just how great the arena shows are and the fantastic support you get from the audiences across the UK - see you on the road!”

Former England Rugby captain Kyran Bracken added: “I’ve had the pleasure to appear on the Dancing on Ice tour several times over the years, both as a contestant and a judge, so I’m delighted to be back.

“We’ve got some great routines lined up for the arena audiences and I can’t wait to perform for them again.”
