Dates cancelled after Bob’s operation

Comedian Bob Mortimer has undergone a successful triple bypass heart operation. As a result, the first leg of the upcoming UK tour 25 Years of Reeves and Mortimer – The Poignant Moments has been cancelled.

All ticket holders for the performance due to take place at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham on Thursday, December 3, will be issued with a full refund.

For ticket enquiries please contact the box office on 0115 989 5555. It is hoped that the January and February 2016 shows will go ahead as planned, including the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham date on Saturday, February 13.

A spokesperson for the 56-year-old comic said: “Bob would like to thank his Consultant and all the nursing staff at the hospital for looking after him so well. He now needs several weeks to fully recover, so unfortunately the first leg of the UK tour will be cancelled.

“Bob very much hopes to be fit and well enough to perform the second leg in January next year.”
