Denby band to play at Party In The Park gig

Flourishing young Denby band Barnie Rubblz will be supporting Sheffield ska outfit Jungle Lion at a gig on Friday, March 20, at the Regal Nightclub, Nottingham Road, Ripley.

The talented group is made up of brothers Jorge (14), Seth (12) and Fred Beardsley (10). The older two brothers go to John Flamsteed School while Fred attends Street Lane Primary.

Rubblz perform a wide range of cover versions, from The Who to The Sex Pistols to The Jam.

The lads have been on BBC Radio Derby to perform and be interviewed ahead of the gig, which is to raise money for this year’s Alfreton Party In The Park event.
