Elton John will return to Nottingham’s Capital FM arena

He is undeniably one of the most acclaimed and adored solo artists of all time, instantaneously recognisable and cherished by his fans worldwide. Today the brilliant song craftsman has announced he will be performing a total of three UK live dates in June next year.

On Tuesday 24th June 2014 Elton John takes to the stage at Capital FM Arena Nottingham for the first time in eight years.

Other dates will see him perform in Leigh and Colchester.

Elton commented on his new dates: “As I have said when asked about the song Home Again on my new album, The Diving Board, there is something very special to me about coming home. I’ve been all around the world and I truly enjoy playing my music for fans everywhere I can, but I do so look forward to coming back home to England, especially every summer and Nottingham has always been a special place for me, as I first played there all the way back in 1967 as a member of Bluesology, on the same bill as Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Cliff!”
