Firework displays around Nottinghamshire

The skies over Nottinghamshire will come alive tonight with the sights and sounds of fireworks.

Below is a list of some of the Bonfire Night displays taking place around the area tonight - and other events over the coming days.

5th November

1st Skegby Scout Group, Mansfield Road. The bonfire will be lit at 6pm with food and refreshments being served through to 8pm.

5th Mansfield Sea Scouts, Devon Drive, Mansfield. Gates open at 7pm. £1 admission, bar, hot food and tombola - with all proceeds going to the group.

1st Clipstone Community Bonfire Night, Clipstone cricket ground. Large bonfire with fireworks as well as food and refreshments. Adults £2, children are £1.50 and under 5s free. All payable on entrance. Gates open at 6pm.

The Gate, Warsop. 6pm start.

7th November

Speed The Plough, Mansfield Road, Sutton. Fireworks display, bonfire and BBQ. To enter the display area, folk have to make a purchase from the bar. There will be a free gift for every child. The fun begins at 7pm. Everyone welcome to go along. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Contact 07821 331173.

8th November

Forest Town Welfare. Gates open at 5.30pm. Admission is £2.50, under 5s free. Fireworks start at 8.15pm.

4th Mansfield Woodhouse Scouts, Turner Hall playing field. Gates open at 6pm. £5 for a family of four, £1.50 per person. Bar, hot food and raffle. All proceeds to the Scout Group.

Worksop Rugby Club. Gates open at 5pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks at 7.30pm. There will be rides for all ages, a hog roast, licensed bar and special appearances from Mickey Mouse and Iron Man.

A family ticket admits two adults and two children free of charge. Unaccompanied children under 12 will not be admitted. Ticket prices are £3 for adults and £1 for children.

9th November

Mansfield Hosiery Mills, The Fieldings, off Huthwaite Road. Fireworks, BBQ, refreshments and much more. Gates open at 6pm, Fireworks start at 7.15pm. Admission is £2, but under 5s are free. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
