Clumber Park hosts the sixth annual Flashback Festival next month.

The weekend will kick off Friday, August 21, with the best of the 70s. The line-up consists of Boney M, The Real Thing, Hot Chocolate and Odyssey with Sister Sledge topping the bill. Sister Sledge have an impressive catalogue of hits such as We Are Family, Lost In Music and Thinking Of You.

Saturday sees the return of all things 80s, with a line-up that will take you back to the coolest decade in pop. Sheffield band The Human League are set to headline the festival playing 80s hits such as Don’t you want me, Human and Together in Electric Dreams. Joining The Human League will be Tainted Love singer Marc Almond, Jason Donovan, 5 Star, Toyah and Flashback’s favourite compere The Doctor of Doctor & The Medics.

If all that wasn’t enough, for the first time Saturday will be opening earlier for a special afternoon set from the soul and funk band Soul II Soul.

This year’s attractions will include a Silent Disco which will take place after the event. Silent discos have taken the festival scene by storm over the past couple of years and can even be found at the UK’s biggest festival – Glastonbury. The silent disco will run from 11pm through until 2am, a must for those who like to party until the early hours.

Camping is available at the festival, including posh “glamping” in pre-erected bell tents for VIP ticket holders.
